Selkie Pelt, June 2026 L&L

In Celtic folklore Selkies are magical creatures that appear as seals in the water and beautiful women on land. Their magical sealskin pelts are the key to their shape-shifting, and many myths center on small minded humans controlling and coercing Selkies by stealing their pelts. Kicking off Lore & Legends in the month of June we’d like to symbolically reunite the Selkie with her pelt, giving her back her power to shape her own destiny and enjoy ownership of her choices about her presentation and her body. May we all feel as magically empowered in our own skins as a Selkie swimming free.

The Selkie Pelt glitter is a carefully curated mix of dusty amethyst tones and deep seal grays with balanced flashes meant to evoke the shimmering of light on water and the magic of transformation.
